What We Check During Inspection
When you hire us, expect us to carefully check for the existing protections, grounding, and aluminum wiring in the property. We also inspect the number of switches and outlets in the house, as well as the capacity of smoke detectors if it is needed to be done depending on the property’s location.
We run all the appliances that are included in the purchase and sale of the residential or commercial property. This is for us to see if the equipment is in good operating condition.
The age of a roof is a good indicator of its condition. Our inspectors have the experience and skills to inspect any roof type and check on its drainage systems, chimneys, skylights, flashings, and roof penetrations for vents and flues.
In our property evaluations, we test the interior water supply and distribution system. This includes water pressure, heating equipment, and the suitability of vents, flues, and chimneys.
We check insulation and vapor barriers in the areas with high humidity, such as kitchens and baths. This is to help you avoid having mold presence, poor air quality, or excessive energy consumption in your property.
Our staff meticulously inspect the interior and exterior of the property’s chimney to see if there is any damage that can lead to a disastrous situation. With our extensive experience, you can be sure that we have the expertise to work on any type of fireplace.
Trust us to carefully inspect the property’s architecture, including entryways, foundations, and sidings. In this way, we can detect any sign of sagging, damage, or crack in the building’s structure. We will also probe the framing to test for soft or hollow spots caused by corrosion or pests.
We perform a visual assessment of decks, rooflines, balconies, soffits, and eaves. During the evaluation, our inspectors will look check the land around the property to see obvious drainage problems. We will also inspect walkways and driveways for apparent deterioration.
Our team provides a complete inspection of your furnace or air-conditioning system. We perform a thorough review and testing of the property’s heating and cooling equipment.
We perform a visual scan of all parts of the home interior, including floors, walls, and ceilings for signs of sagging or water intrusion. Our inspectors also check on the stairways and railings to ensure safety and code compliance, as well as windows and doors to ensure good condition.
Countertops, kitchen cabinet interiors, and drawers will also be inspected for quality and functionality. To see if there was a previous water intrusion in the property, we will also conduct a thorough checking in the basement.
